Project Brief

This is a unique food delivery service that will connect chefs with individuals in need of their services, either for personal or corporate use. Customers will gain access to a wide range of local chefs specializing in different homemade cuisines, which the customer can pick and choose. The foods will be made to order, not prepared in bulk, thus providing a better quality than restaurant made dishes.

Faced Challenges

The main challenge was to develop a comprehensive platform that seamlessly connects individuals seeking ready-made meals with talented cooks and chefs who are willing to share their skills or rent out their kitchen spaces.

Other challenges included creating a user-friendly interface for both customers and partners, ensuring efficient meal delivery logistics, and establishing trust and credibility within the community.

On-time Food Delivery – Once the chef prepares the food, they will mark the status as “prepared” in the system. At this point, the platform will automatically assign the task to one of the nearest drivers available for pickup and delivery.

Background check of partners document – To conduct a thorough background check on partners, including verifying their documents such as SSN, Food Handlers License, Valid Driver License, Car Registration, and more

Real-time status updates: Real-time food update status allows seamless communication and coordination among customers, chefs, and drivers throughout the entire food delivery process.

User experience and usability: User experience and usability are vital aspects of food delivery mobile apps, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for customers and partners.

The challenges faced before starting the project included on-time food delivery, implementing background check of partners’ documents, ensuring compliance and security, providing real-time status updates, and optimizing user experience.
